Acrobat Sign - General
Your feedback is essential to helping us shape the future of Acrobat Sign. That’s why we have partnered with UserVoice, a third-party service, to create this site to hear your ideas and suggestions. Here, you can send us ideas for new features you’d like to see or report bugs that are getting in your way.
The UserVoice feedback pages are for feature requests and bug reports only. If your submission is not a product feature, suggestion, or product question, it may be removed. Only upload content that you have permission to use and refrain from posting personal information (home address, phone number, email address, serial number, or credit card information). Spam, content that promotes illegal activity, vulgar or abusive language, or fraudulent or phishing links are not allowed on this platform.
UserVoice is a third-party platform for product feedback. The Acrobat Sign team regularly reviews ideas and incorporates them into product planning discussions. We can’t guarantee specific features or development timelines, but we read every suggestion and respond where we can. Please note that feedback is voluntary, and if you provide feedback, you give Adobe the right to use it without restrictions.
For all other questions and discussions, visit the Adobe Acrobat Sign forum.
Submit feature requests and bug reports to our product teams via this UserVoice site. You can also look at ideas and issues that other users have submitted and vote for ideas you like.
How it works:
- Select the feedback forum for your product.
- Browse ideas and vote for the ones you like.
- If your feature idea or issue is not listed, post it.

While you can currently customize about 90% of the emails EchoSign sends out with your logo, header, footer text, message, etc., it would be terrific to be able to customize it all the way to 100%

Allow signer to preserve form data when delegating a form to another signer
Frequently we have a need to send a document to a customer to be filled out and signed where the form is sent to an intermediary person that completes the form then gives the form to an authorized person to sign. We would like to be able to have the initial person the document is sent to (frequently our point of contact) who may not have the final authority to sign open the document, complete some if not all of the fields, then click the link to forward the document to another person to sign. When the other person opens…

Re-use previous send messages
I send the same transmittal message each time. I would like to be able to have a drop down that lets me pick previously used messages.
As it is now I have to cut and paste them from a Notepad document into the Echosign form.39 votesAdobe Sign supports message templates, at the group and account level, for the Business and Enterprise levels of service.

Secure Credit Card Fields
Echosign should offer a box for collecting customer credit card numbers that when viewed in the returned document is X'd out apart from the last four digits. The actual number could be passed via the API. This would preserve the security of sensitive financial information from being passed around internally or stolen from the clients copy.

Allow users to set the date format
Users in different countries have their own standards of date format which are not compatible with the US. UK users prefer dates presented as DD MM YYYY and this simple change would eliminate any confusion.

Allow multiple signers from one e-mail address.
We need to have the ability to request multiple signers from one e-mail address. For example, this would be useful when dealing with a husband and wife that has only 1 e-mail address.

Ability to insert and view Hyperlinks in the Message field when you send a document to be signed with Adobe Sign
We will like to have the ability to insert a Hyperlink in the "Message" field when you send a document to be signed with Adobe Sign. You have the possibility to add the URL address (Example: https://www.google.com) but this is viewed as a test field only and it's not interpreted as a Hyperlink. You have to copy and paste the URL to a browser instead of having the URL interpreted as a Hyperlink.
It is imported for throws how to view the message to have the URL clickable.

Make it possible to split and merge documents that have been echosigned.
The point of an electronic signature is to be paperless. I usually have contracts that are 24 pages, but consist of several smaller groups that may need to be handled independently. I currently can not do this without printing and rescanning, or uploading each of the 10 smaller parts of the contract separately, which are both wastes of time.

unlimit the number of recipients who have to sign
The number of people who sign a document is limited to 6. Unfortunatelly, regarding a lot of HR process, there are more than 6 people who have to sign documents.
14 votesWe have recently implemented this idea. Thank you for contributing suggestions.

Email document simultaneously to multiple recepients
The system sends documents in sequential order if there are more than one signer. The second signer is sent only when the first has signed.
There should be option to send document to all signers simultaneously.13 votesAdobe Sign supports parallel signature processes at all levels of service.
In the Recipients section, the very top switch asks you select the basic signature order:
When Complete in Order is selected, a sequential signing process is observed from one signing step to the next.
When Complete in Any Order is enabled, parallel signing can take place

Ability to Modify Data in Fields after Document is Sent for Signature
I have read the 'modify agreement' function and have seen other posts regarding this but the answer was an editable document (word).
Is there an ability to be able to modify the data in a specific field after it has been sent out for signature if the document is a PDF? We have reps that misspell names, fat finger a tax ID, birth date and only realize it after it is out for signature.
12 votesThe Modify Agreement feature allows for an agreement's field to be editable by the sender up to the point that the first recipient applies their signature/approval.
This can be done with any format of uploaded form, as long as the fields are editable within the Acrobat Sign authoring environment. Fields that are flattened into the PDF as a result of upload cannot be edited as they are no longer fields.
Editing fields includes editing the Default values of fields.
"Prefill" fields will need to be filled again when resaving the new version of the agreement, giving the option to save new values if needed.
