Acrobat Sign - General
Your feedback is essential to helping us shape the future of Acrobat Sign. That’s why we have partnered with UserVoice, a third-party service, to create this site to hear your ideas and suggestions. Here, you can send us ideas for new features you’d like to see or report bugs that are getting in your way.
The UserVoice feedback pages are for feature requests and bug reports only. If your submission is not a product feature, suggestion, or product question, it may be removed. Only upload content that you have permission to use and refrain from posting personal information (home address, phone number, email address, serial number, or credit card information). Spam, content that promotes illegal activity, vulgar or abusive language, or fraudulent or phishing links are not allowed on this platform.
UserVoice is a third-party platform for product feedback. The Acrobat Sign team regularly reviews ideas and incorporates them into product planning discussions. We can’t guarantee specific features or development timelines, but we read every suggestion and respond where we can. Please note that feedback is voluntary, and if you provide feedback, you give Adobe the right to use it without restrictions.
For all other questions and discussions, visit the Adobe Acrobat Sign forum.
Submit feature requests and bug reports to our product teams via this UserVoice site. You can also look at ideas and issues that other users have submitted and vote for ideas you like.
How it works:
- Select the feedback forum for your product.
- Browse ideas and vote for the ones you like.
- If your feature idea or issue is not listed, post it.

Auto-Number Feature
I would like the ability to have an auto-number field feature for documents/templates such as purchase requisitions which makes it a lot easier to keep a track of and for the purchasing department to reference them in the future.

Define common area that users can comment freely during the e signature process.
Feature to include a pre-defined area (comment section) in a doc that any member can comment on during the e-signature process. Otherwise, the owner has to cancel the doc and re-send time to time by defining individual areas. If a free common area, approvers can comment if they required to include to the document.

Bug: Forwarded Acrobat Sign email grants access to others' signature
When the Acrobat Sign email, requesting a signature, is forwarded (not delegated) to a third party, that person can sign the document with the forwarding party's signature.
For example:
- Person A requests a signature from Person B, and Person B receives the Acrobat Sign email asking for a signature.
- Person B forwards this email to Person C.
- Person C follows the link in the forwarded (not delegated) email and opens the document in Adobe Sign.
- In Acrobat Sign, when Person C clicks on the signature field, they see Person B's signature.
- If Person C signs the document and closes Adobe…

Need fix bug of missing attachments in the original PDF file after signing through sign
The PDF to be signed that I originally created using Adobe Acrobat software included an Excel file in xlsx format that was added through the attachment function in Adobe Acrobat. However, after uploading the sign webpage for signature action, the attachments included in the file disappeared. Since the files we provide are in the original Excel format and require proof that they have not been modified, but the current design of sign is that sign will perform a Flattening process on the uploaded PDF files, and Flattening will strip the attachments from the PDF files. Therefore, sign's current functionality cannot…

Change the placement of the Terms of Use Continue button on webforms to the middle of the screen
When opening a web form to fill out, the Terms of Use disclaimer appears at the bottom of the screen and prompts the user to click Continue.
The placement of the button at the bottom of the screen confuses many users who aren't careful to read the small text. They immediately think the Continue button is for submitting the form. Then, they are confused as to why they can't fill out the form. It is poor UX design to put the button on the bottom of the screen. It should be in the middle or possibly very clear on the…3 votes -
Add an expiration to completed agreements
For our company, we have agreements that expire 6 months after they are signed. We often find ourselves with expired agreements and have to resend them in a hurry. We would like to know if it is possible to add a notification to completed agreements that will remind us that it is due to expire and to send out another one so we have it signed BEFORE the expiration date so we operate within the parameters of the law. Thank you for your consideration,

Adobe Sign send in bulk: Preview before send
When using the 'send in bulk' feature (formerly Mega Sign)the preview should give you a view of at least what one of the sent requests will look like (pre-populated with details pull from spreadsheet). Ideally also some information on how many users it will send to and which fields will be populated. E.g. if there is a mapping error it would be easier to spot on the preview and fix the spreadsheet. Possible a second preview page before sending.

Blank Value as Default Selection of Group for Users in Multiple Groups
When the feature "Users in Multiple Groups" is enabled, the default selection in the dropdown field for the end-users to select the suitable group from is set to the primary group of the sender.
Can we make the default selection to be "blank"?

Ensure default and available authentication methods are read from the selected group when the option "Users in multiple groups" is enabled
When enabling the Users In Multiple Groups functionality and a sender selects a Send from group all the associated Group Setting should be used. Currenty the following settings are defined by the senders primary group and not the selected Send from group:
• Enable the following identity authentication methods for recipients
• By default, use the following methodThis makes it possible for a sender to select a group which is intended for signatures meeting specific regulatory requirements (with a set of allowed authentication methods) and then still be able to select a non-approved authentication method as these are read…

Add a configuration option not to flatten PDF files when uploading for e-Signatures
Adobe Acrobat Sign is stripping off Certificates applied prior to uploading for e-Signatures. Please create an option in the Account Configuration to not strip off the Signatures for Digital Signatures placed using the Adobe Acrobat desktop products. Many large companies have internal systems for routing documents for signatures (using required Certificate Authorities) up until the point of seeking client signoff.

Change DOB requirement to "over 18" checkbox
Applies to all Adobe Terms and Conditions. There's no legitimate reason to ask for a user's date of birth in the terms and conditions.
If the purpose is to make sure a user is over 18 to purchase and understand the terms, as suggested here (https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services-discussions/why-am-i-being-required-to-give-my-date-of-birth/m-p/12320143), then provide an "over 18" checkbox.
As a user, my DOB shouldn't be used for other purposes.

Loss of Functionality in Recent Upgrades to Adobe Sign vs Classic Adobe Sign Experience
When I send out contracts for signature the first step is for the person at our firm who is requesting the contract to act as approver. It then goes to the signatory(ies). For whatever reason, the e-mail from Echo Sign often ends up in a junk mail or clutter folder. In those cases when enough time has elapsed, I send a Reminder via Adobe Sign to the requestor/approver to be in touch with the signatory(ies) to see what is happening. The requestor/approver is the person with whom the signatory(ies) is/are used to dealing with and recognize their e-mail. Prior to…

Allow the ability to modify a document regardless if document was sent through a workflow.
Documents that need to be edited after it was sent for signatures, but still not signed by the 1st signature should be allowed.

Password protect a webform after signing
I would like to give the ability to users to password-protect documents when they complete signing them as a web form. Then, they would have to communicate to the sender what the password is. Otherwise, many sensitive items end up in a user's email inbox unprotected.
This should also come along with the ability to assign a field as a password. So there will be a field in the form that's required like, "Social Security Number" that you can enforce the format and this way if I already know my client's social security number, that will automatically be the password.…2 votes -
Make the Message textbox on the Send page scale with large inputs
Instead of a fixed size with scrollbar, the text input should resize when the entered text is long enough, being able to see everything you've typed at a glance makes it easier to double check.

Megasign should allow delegation
When you now send with Megasign recepients cannot delegate. When sending hundreds of contracts it is possible that another person in the company you are sending it to should sign it. Therefore is is super important the delegate feature works with Megasign.

Individual Support Contact & Link
Today Adobe supports only own support links and there is no option to assign in the system an individual support contact and link which refer to our own company support setup. Such a feature would be quite important so that end users will be directed to right support contact or materials which are company specific.
