  1. Allow Multiple Signed Files to be created in one signing event

Allow one signing to create multiple "signed" files. Often multiple files are needed to be signed, however, parts of the document need to go to different places. (1 document to account, 1 document to a partner company) yet EchoSign only creates 1 digital file. It must be unsecured and broken apart after the signing. If mulitple pdf "files" could be generated in 1 signing event it would eliminate this step and allow for "secured" files to be sent to the proper destination after signing. It would also ensure that multiple signings would not be needed (to obtain the same result).

    Hi John,
This functionality is already supported by EchoSign. In the settings for your account, there is an option on whether EchoSign should create a single PDF file or keep the individual files separate. By default the files are merged into a single file.

Once you have made a change to your account, you can send multiple files for signature at the same time and receive the signed files as separate files.

    Thanks
    Mangesh

  2. When exporting report data for library item, export field data from all documents created from this item (signed/unsigned)

You can export form/ field data from a single document to csv - this works no problem...
But what would be really, really handy is if I could export field/form data for multiple documents provided they originate from the same library item.
The report function already does half the job, giving you signer and date info from all the documents created from a selected (filtered) item, if that report could export the form data as well for analysis that would save on a lot of tedious copy and paste work for many people

The EchoSign Reporting capability already supports the ability to export the form field data. Please contact your client success representative to have them turn on this capability for your account.

    Thanks

  3. Pop Instructions for Signers

There should be a way to add pop up instructions for signers to let them know what they need to fill in and/or sign. This is to prevent signers skipping over areas and heading right to the signature line.

The signing wizard guides signers through the document and all its fields and ensures they enter data in all mandatory fields.

  4. Must Draw Signature Condition

Add a condition where the signer can only sign the document by drawing their signature. This will help decrease the amount of documents that need to be resubmitted because the text signature was used instead.

  9. Ability to change an incorrect email address

    1. If a document sent comes back as undeliverable because of a bad email address we would like to be able to edit the email address and resend the doc set.

    2. If number 1 is not possible we would like the undeliverable doc set to be automatically cancelled instead of remaining in an "out for signature" status.

Right now we have to manually cancel the undeliverable document and create a new one with the correct email address.

  12. Ability to cancel an unsigned / unsent document without sending notifications to all signers.

Currently if one makes a mistake while preparing a document for signing, and realizes the mistake AFTER starting to sign the document but BEFORE the document has been sent, it's impossible to cancel the sending without notifying all the parties (and providing an embarrassing reason such as "made a mistake"). This is silly and annoying. There's no reason to notify parties of errors one makes BEFORE one has sent the document. It should be possible to make changes or completely cancel sending at any point up until the document has actually been finally signed and sent.

  13. Email image customizations per-User or per-Group, rather than per-account

Right now the email header/footer images are set per-Account. We need to set this on a per-User or per-Group basis.

A similar feature is already provided for the email footer text, through the checkbox titled "Allow users to have their own email footers."

  14. Fill & Sign: Allow you to sign and file documents locally.

I sign and send documents out for viewing. I have to either be able to save it locally or send it to myself to be saved due to legal requirements to have the file kept in certain locations. Echosign will not let me send to myself or save a signed document directly .

  15. Allow one field to appear on two or more pages of a document

My customers need to enter their address on my documents when they are signing them. The address needs to be entered on two different pages.

I can find no way to configure the document, either using EchoSign tags or using the online editor, to allow my customer to enter their address once on the first page and have it automatically filled in on the second page.

Am I missing something? Is this feature already available? If not, my customers would really appreciate it!

Released October-12 as part of EchoSign 5.2

If the same tag will appear more than once in the document, its value will automatically be populated to all location during signing.
Also, if you double click on a field and click on “actions” you can select “Add another location for this field”. This option is available today but we’ve found some bugs in the editor preventing it from working in some scenarios. These issues are resolved in our next release, too.

Docusign allows you to get a contract signed and at time of signature the document to go to another party ( someone that did not sign the document).

For example: Person A initiates the contract - Person B signs the contract and Person A receives the contract but at that time I'd like Person C to also receive the contract so that Person A does not have to forward the signed contract. Does that make sense? This capability is possible with Docusign.

The Show CC link under the recipient list exposes a field where you can carbon copy (CC) any email address that you want to view the agreement, without them having signing/approval authority.

  18. Allow free "practice accounts"

I would like to second the idea of enabling more opportunity to learn the system than is currently provided by the initial five, free transactions. I too, quickly used up my five transactions just sending documents to one my own email addresses. Unfortunately, however, I still do not feel totally confident about using the system for my actual business documents. Why not just allow unlimited practice transactions provided the new user is only able to send the document to themselves or some area on your web site that would mimic exactly what an intended recipient would see?

    Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion. We do have trial accounts which will allow you to experience the full functionality of the application for a limited period of time. You can sign up for a trial account and experience the functionality as it would be experienced by your intended recipients.
    Thanks

  19. Extract data from sent and received documentss ie name, document type an date

A helpful report would be from data extracted such as name, document type and date, which could be downloaded into a spreadsheet or text file. When using Echosign as an operational workflow process, the frequency and trend of individual persons using a particular form (or the reverse, frequency of forms used and trend) can't be measured easily.

EchoSign supports creating reports and exporting their data to CSV file format. In addition we support exporting data collected in agreements, library documents and widgets into CSV format.

If these data exports lack specific information you’re looking for, please let us know

  20. Only login via Google Apps; no document access

Please make Google Apps login possible without sharing access to Google Drive. Using Google Apps to login is great, but the requirement to give EchoSign blanked access to Drive and Contacts is excessive.

    Hi,

Most of our customers who use Google Apps want to use Google ID to login as well as have access to their Google Contact and Google Drive to be able to select documents for sending.

We do have the ability to limit use of Google Apps just for login. Please contact EchoSign Support or your Client Success Representative and they should be able to advice you on how to do so.

    Thanks
